Welcome to my Portfolio!

Thank you so much for taking the time to look through my portfolio! My name is Cadence Dingler, and I am a sophomore English major, with a Professional Writing Studies minor here at Elon. I was born and raised in Cape May, New Jersey. For those who may not know, that’s a small town at the VERY bottom of New Jersey. One step too many and you could walk right into the Atlantic Ocean.  

This portfolio documents my work as a student at Elon University throughout my past two years here. In three sections, shown above, I demonstrate by writing ability through a myriad of papers and projects. The Rhetorician, The Collaborator, and The Critical Writer perfectly embody who I am and what I’ve accomplished as a writer, and a student. In ‘The Rhetorician’ section, you will be able to see how I make wise rhetorical decisions throughout two major projects. Through ‘The Collaborator’ section, you will be able to look through a client project done for the Writing Center at Elon. You will be able to see how successful my partners and I were in making our client happy, and the project a success as whole. Finally, though ‘The Critical Writer’ section, you will be able to note my exemplary writing ability through two papers that I take great pride in.

As I mentioned before, my portfolio documents my growth as a writer and as a young adult through works collected and perfected over the past two years. However, this is only the beginning. Over the next couple of years, this portfolio will grow exponentially, and I hope you’ll stop by again at the end of my senior year to see how I’ve grown even more!
