I have written many pieces on this topic, and each time I’m amazed at the power of writing to influence those who come across it.  I feel that this project best exemplifies the objective of developing an appreciation for this power, as the very goal of this project for me was to have an influence on those whose eating habits contribute to a truly horrific part of our world. Though the gruesome nature of some of the photos and details presented can be difficult to see or read, I refused to gloss over what really goes on in factory farms and slaughterhouses. The world, even if it’s just an incredibly small piece of the world, will never change if not compelled to do so; and that is what I sought to accomplish through this project.
