We were asked to choose a stance on a particular issue for which we would like to advocate, and to present our argument in each of three separate and distinct genres. We then had to organize the three documents into a single and unified collection including a table of contents, letter to the readers, and works cited page. I chose to focus on the mistreatment of animals in factory farms today, as animal rights is an issue I've long been passionate about. I decided to inform and persuade the reader using an informative research based essay, an inner monologue regarding a particular experience I had as a vegetarian, and a Prezi which made use of both images and text.
