Context:

The class that I did this work for was a service learning class called Writing As Inquiry. We were working with The Conservator’s Center, a non-profit organization based in Mebane, North Carolina.  They are a group of people focused in animal conservation and education. Myself and five other senior Professional Writing and Rhetoric students already had a relationship from working with them on a different project but this project was different in that it was an analytical project. We were creating documents that were intended to map the responses they were having to the Center’s guided-tour program. The tour program has grown into the largest source of income for the organization so they brought us in to observe and report guest’s opinions about their tour experiences as well as attempting to find new ways in which the tour program could be improved. After our initial research was complete we created a series of documents that assisted in the improving of the organization’s tour program. All the documents in this section come from this class and this project. We were operating under the name CUPID Consulting. The name comes from the CUPID Lab where we do most of our work.
