This section showcases my analytical skills as a writer and rhetor. The first two papers, “Ethical Models in Classical Rhetoric” and “Rhetoric and Societal Change,” are papers based off of a number of readings we had been assigned throughout the semester. Both papers feature an argument based off of conclusions I drew from a number of important rhetorical texts and in-depth analyses that support my arguments.

The third document from Understanding Rhetoric is the Consulting Project. This project required us to select some group or organization that we were familiar with, identify a problem in the organization, and present a solution to that problem using rhetorical skills. The proposal for this project is based around a detailed rhetorical analysis of the entire situation and the presentation itself reflects both what I was able to draw from my analysis as well as my ability to implement rhetorical design strategies.
