In many cases, I have experienced writing mainly as a "go-it-alone" activity. However, in the field of Professional Writing and Rhetoric, which aims to prepare us for real-world, workplace writing, it has become extremely evident that much real-world writing is collaboration-based. The projects that I have collaborated with other students on showcase strong writing, strong design, and also my ability to work well with others throughout all stages of the writing and design processes.

The first project included in this section is a template document that I and twelve other students in ENG 397, Writing as Inquiry, worked together to create for the Dean of the Elon College of Arts and Sciences to allow departments to showcase things goings on, as well as to increase awareness and funding for the department. The same group of students and I also worked together to produce a handbook, which is also included, about the practical value of a Professional Writing and Rhetoric education for post-graduate careers, based on interviews we conducted with professional writers and professionals who write. The last document included in this section is an information sheet that I worked on with two other members of my ENG 415, Advanced CUPID Studio class. The informatin sheet is meant to better market the Professional Writing Studies minor at Elon.
