I learned how to perform inquiry in ENG 304: Understanding rhetoric, which teaches students the theories and techniques of rhetoric, and ENG 397: Writing as Inquiry, which teaches students how professional writers conduct inquiry. The projects from these classes show how, as a student, I learned how to research. Knowing how to conduct inquiry is one of the most valuable skills I have learned as a Professional Writing and Rhetoric (PWR) student. As a future member of the legal community, I know that I will have to be able to perform legal research. I will be using my knowledge of how to conduct inquiry for the rest of my life.
