To me, one of the most important functions of rhetoric is to support others. Rhetoric was once defined by Quintilian as "the good man speaking well," and part of doing good, or being good, is helping people. Writing is an ethical practice, on top of being fun or useful or a means to an end, and so the writer or rhetor should use the skill to reach out to their community. 

With that said, the documents within this category all represent times that I used my skill as a writer, designer, and rhetor to support others. These projects include volunteer work on campus, a service learning project for a local non-profit, and a marketing tool for an activist organization at Elon.
