Portfolio Tools


In the upper right corner of the page, you can access Portfolio Tools, which is the "master control" for your portfolio. This is the administrative area, where only you, as the owner, may make decisions.

 

Note - many of the pages under Portfolio Tools include a "Save" button at the bottom left of the page. Be sure to save each page after you've made your selections. If no save button is present, then the change was made immediately on your portfolio.

 

Settings:  In this section, you'll enter basic information, select your banner and icon, and make decisions about who can view, edit, or comment on your portfolio. (Don't worry about making a mistake. You can always come back later and change any of these.)

 

Submit: If you will belong to a specific course, class, or other designated administrative group, this is where you'll submit your portfolio. [This section is not applicable to you.

 

Download:  This selection enables you to save your portfolio for downloading to your computer. The zipped file will include HTML, images, and all related portfolio items that have been uploaded.

 

Make a copy:  Exactly what it says - select this choice to duplicate the current portfolio. You will be asked to rename and verify the new web address for the duplicate. You can edit or change the duplicate and use the same template or other layout features of the original.

 

Delete:  Deletes the current portfolio. You'll be asked to verify your decision. Be careful - this cannot be undone by anyone. Once it's deleted, it no longer exists. Period.

 

Next, click on Enter Basic Information in the left menu.
